Sony Ericsson Zylo

Sony Ericsson Zylo is a mobile phone designed more specifically for music lovers than those web-centric denizens. It has music entertainment features which include Walkman player to create a personalized playlist, Shake Control for changing the song, and TrackID which is a technology that tells the title of the song and its artist and album by simply recording just a few seconds of the song.

When it comes to other entertainment features, the phone also has YouTube support which allows users to enjoy video streaming anywhere they go. In addition with this feature, the phone also has FM radio with RDS and 3D games application.

Just like most mobile phones nowadays, Zylo has a built-in camera with 3.2-megapixel resolution and a paltry 2X digital zoom. Despite some weak features in the camera, at least is has a video recording capability, Photo Fix to adjust the light balance and contrast of an image, Geo-tagging capability, and Photo Feeds which allows users to access their friends’ photo blogs.

The device has a modest web features that may not be enough for web-centric users. But at least it has Google Search application, Web Feeds to receive the latest blogs and news, Web Browser Netfront for full Internet browsing experience, and Bookmarks to quickly access the user’s favorite websites.

Nokia Dual SIM C1 and C2 Phones Announced »

Nokia has introduced a few new phones recently, two of them are the Nokia C1 and C2, both of which offer dual SIM card slots. The C1 is designed for folks in developing countries or those who travel often. Users will be able to switch between either SIM card by simply holding down a key, enabling them to choose whichever SIM provides them with the best rates, depending on where they are. The other stand-out feature of the C1 is its insanely long 48 days battery life. It features an FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and a flashlight.

Aside from that, the C2 also packs dual SIM card slots, but the difference in this phone is that both cards are active at the same time, allowing you to receive calls on either SIM without having to manually swap between them. One of the cards can even be hot-swapped, which will be quite useful if you happen to have more than two SIM cards. A microSDHC card slot is also available on the C2, allowing you to expand its memory capacity up to 32GB.

The battery is estimated to last 16,5 days on standby and 4 hours of talk time. The Nokia C2 also features VGA camera, GPRS Internet connectivity, Bluetooth and FM radio with broadcast recording. There’s also a microSD card (up to 32GB, but those cost more than the phone itself), 3.5mm audio jack plus an MP3 player.
